Teen angst rules the day in this anime series about a high school student, Shinichiro, whose family has taken in the daughter of a deceased friend. The problem: The well-liked girl is withdrawn when at home, and Shinichiro is too shy to approach. Desperately wanting to help the girl open up about her experiences but unsure how to reach out, Shinichiro suffers the added woes of a strange girl's curse and his best friend's teasing.
